About this event

Poll Watcher Training
Non-Partisan Poll Watcher Training

Project Civica is hosting non-partisan poll watcher training and Hands-On Support

You’ll learn:

  • Do’s & Don'ts for poll watching
  • How to document and report incidents
  • How to work effectively with local election officials

In collaboration with Smart Elections, we will provide real time support during early voting, Election Day and post election audits and canvass, to those who have been trained

Credentials note: In New York, poll watchers need credentials issued by a county party or a committee chairperson. We’ll try to help you connect locally after you sign up.

Sign Up for Poll Watcher Training Training is non-partisan.

Your information will be used to coordinate training, follow-up, and credential assistance.

  • Poll Workers vs. Poll Watchers
  • Poll Workers - Paid by the Board of Elections to run the polling site.
  • Poll Watchers - Credentialed volunteers who observe and report only. They do not handle ballots or assist voters.

Community Spotlight: Unity in Brooklyn

We applaud Brooklyn’s leaders for putting aside differences to work together for their community. This rare step shows that true progress begins with unity and a commitment to the greater good.

At Project Civica, we believe this spirit of collaboration strengthens communities and builds trust in civic life.
